Coupons
Discount & offer codes and coupons can be distributed or applied to your product checkout inside the messenger platform with the help of chatbots built on BotSumo platform.
To go to this coupon section, navigate to Menu > eCommerce > Coupons (above the table).
You will get the table with basic details of the coupons like name, percentage, end date and active status as shown in the image below.
You can use two types of coupon codes in BotSumo platform.
- Auto-Generated Code – You can generate code with random characters,
- Manually Entered Code – You can enter your pre-defined codes for particular products or categories.
Add/Create a Coupon Code
Select the “+ Coupon” button above the table to create or add coupon to your products in the inventory.
Now you have to fill the details in the respective fields.
This is how the add coupon setup looks like.
Discount Code – Enter the coupon code name if you have one or click “Generate Code” to create a random code for your coupons. Note: Character is limited to 50 in this name field.
Select the next checkbox, if you want to apply this coupon while checking out that product.
Discount Types – You can choose your discount types for this coupon among those three types in the drop-down menu. Percentage, Fixed Amount & Free Shipping are the three types in that drop-down menu.
Discount Value – You can enter the numeric values of your coupon based on the type of discount type you were choosing.
Applying to – Choose where you can apply this coupon on your inventory. You can choose between the entire (all) orders, particular products, & particular categories.
Minimum Requirement – If your coupon code has minimum order or price value, you can choose those in this field here.
Usage Limits – You can set the limitation on using this coupon at some limit or person level.
Active Dates – Enter the validity of this coupon code in this field.
That’s all. Finish the process by saving and start boosting your sales using these coupon codes.
